"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20
Baptism is the sign of new life in Christ, a renewal by the Holy Spirit, and a life lived within a Christian community. The celebration of this rite of Holy Baptism for people of all ages takes place within the community worship service. Baptism preparation is offered as needed.
Confirmation is a mature, re-commitment of baptismal vows. During the celebration, the Bishop prays for the strengthening of the Holy Spirit for the candidate’s work as a Christian and as an Anglican in the world. A series of preparation classes is offered prior to confirmation. The next confirmation classes begin on October 6th with the Bishop joining us for confirmation on December 16th, 2012.
